Vermilion Group is the private equity investment office of the Mortenson family. The Mortenson family built M. A. Mortenson Companies, Inc. into a highly diversified family-owned growth and community-oriented construction organization. Vermilion pursues private equity investments in well-positioned privately held and/or founder-owned companies with a view to make them great. We are a flexible capital provider for growth, recapitalization and buyouts and consider both control and minority investments. Vermilion is industry agnostic with experience across manufacturing, distribution and business services. We operate outside traditional funding cycles and use patient long-term capital.
