Wan & Waples is a founder-led executive search firm focused exclusively on senior in-house legal and governance appointments. We advise boards, private equity investors and General Counsel on critical leadership hires — including General Counsel, Heads of Legal and senior legal team build-outs. The firm was established to raise the standard in legal search. We work on a limited number of mandates at any one time, ensuring each search is partner-led from start to finish and handled with the judgement and discretion senior appointments require. Alongside permanent search, we also support organisations with interim legal leadership and advisory work including legal team design, succession planning and market intelligence. Wan & Waples is led by Lesley Wan, a renowned General Counsel, and Charles Waples, a specialist headhunter of in-house lawyers.
