HRBureau delivers a no-nonsense practical HR and employment law service to businesses throughout Dumfries & Galloway, most of whom don't have their own HR Department. Sue has worked with over 80 SMEs throughout Dumfries and Galloway in a variety of industries… manufacturing, food, haulage, retail, tourism, beauty, technology, housing, agriculture, advisory services, social enterprises and the third sector for organisations ranging from 3 to 300 employees. Sue works with Chief Execs/MDs and their management teams to provide a practical people management service. Advice and services cover: • Guidance on employment law taking in consideration the size, resources and needs of your business; • Management of staff, dealing with ‘problem employees’, discipline, grievance, dismissal, poor performance, absence management, performance management, appraisals, situational leadership etc; • Contracts, policies and other HR documentation; • Recruitment, succession planning; • Organisational design; • Reward and remuneration; • Restructuring; • Providing a sounding board to the MD/management team; • Training in the essentials of HR (investigations, disciplinaries, recruitment etc for managers).
