Emral Carbon is a leading legal advisory and strategic consultancy business, operating in the voluntary carbon market and Article 6 markets. We advise project developers, lenders, offtakers, insurers, registries, professional services firms, exchanges, marketplaces and technology companies on: • carbon project finance and capital raising; • offtake structuring and Emissions Reduction Purchase Agreements (ERPAs); • Article 6 transactions, including Letters of Authorisation and ITMO sales; • compliance markets (EU ETS and UK ETS); • derivatives, securitisation and structured products; • insurance-backed structures and risk allocation; • tokenisation and digital-asset regulation (including MiCA); and • carbon standards, methodologies, strategy, regulation and policy. We also provide fractional General Counsel services to carbon-market participants. We previously provided carbon brokerage and project finance services in relation to over 100 projects globally, but have recently ceased doing so, to focus on our legal advice and strategic consultancy services. We are unique in our ability to provide legal advice whilst having 5+ years of commercial brokerage experience in carbon markets. Our founder was previously the world's first broker of ITMOs under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement.
