Moxon & Co is a family founded business that can trace its origins back to 1802 when William Moxon of Liley Lane, Huddersfield first founded the family joinery and carpentry business. Since then, more than 5 generations of Moxons have inherited, and passed on the mantle, expanding the business into various industries including farming, construction and civil engineering. A successful sale of the business in 2002 to a FTSE listed company created an investment fund which, today, is managed by James Duffy and David Worthington through Moxon & Co Investments. James, a corporate lawyer, and David, a qualified accountant, have a wealth of experience across different businesses, industries and sectors. Moxon & Co Investments own and manage properties across Yorkshire, and are also involved in property development, capital investment as well as providing legal, financial and strategic advice for start-ups and owner managed businesses.
