The BV Group PE and its VC arm, BV Cornerstone Ventures, operated as an international investment and asset management firm in the US and overseas. Founded by Kamal Bahamdan and Alex Vahabzadeh, the group managed a $2b PE buyout fund and was a merchant banking partner to other institutional and sovereign funds, later adding a $100m VC risk capital fund in partnership with Cornerstone Ventures to its operations until 2002.
