thrv (pronounced "thrive") is an independent sponsor making investments in private technology companies. We incubate AI-native startups with our proprietary Jobs-to-be-Done innovation platform. We partner with corporate venture groups on later-stage growth equity rounds. And we partner with private equity sponsors on control acquisitions. We create equity value for our portfolio companies through product innovation. Customers aren't buying products; they are hiring them to get a job done. This is the foundational Jobs-to-be-Done insight of our method popularized by Harvard Business School's Clay Christensen. We use the customer's Job-to-be-Done to identify unmet needs, analyze the competition, and optimize marketing messages and lead scoring. We use our thrv 5 innovation platform to develop an AI-native growth strategy, create an AI-first product roadmap, and generate go-to-market tactics for each our portfolio companies.
