Starting Gate Partners LLC is a private equity "search" fund based in Durham, North Carolina. We are a group of entrepreneurs, investors, and executives seeking to acquire and operate a privately-held business with annual revenues over $5 million, and grow the business over a 5-10 year period. We endeavor to work closely with existing management whenever possible to ensure continuity during an ownership transition, and provide owners an opportunity to successfully exit a company knowing its legacy will continue.
