INTRO We are Accelerate Industries, a search fund seeking to acquire compelling Main Street businesses in the Washington, DC and Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan areas. As owners consider transitioning their businesses after long and successful careers, we would like to be the next generation to build on the foundations that they laid. ABOUT US -We're a Search Fund w/ Extensive M&A Experience- Our founders bring nearly twenty years of combined M&A experience, having closed over $20 billion in transactions while working at investment banks and Fortune 500 companies. -We're Entirely Self-Funded- Unlike most search funds, we won't need to raise outside equity to fund our search or our ultimate transaction, which provides much-needed speed and certainty. -We're Long-Term Owners- Because we're self-funded, we also won't be under pressure to "flip" businesses to generate returns for investors -- we will patiently operate businesses as long-term stewards. -We're Focused on Stakeholders- Success in business ought to be judged by more than just the bottom line, which is why our philosophy places all stakeholders -- customers, suppliers, employees, communities and more -- at the center of what we do.
