Hylight Advisors is a family-backed search fund based in the Salt Lake City metro area, focused on acquiring and operating a single, high-quality business for the long term. Our approach is rooted in stewardship, not speculation. We’re a family of entrepreneurs committed to building something enduring. We are seeking to acquire a financially stable, consistently profitable business located in Utah or relocatable to the region, with EBITDA between $500K and $2M. We’re especially interested in partnering with founders or owners ready to transition and who want to see their business continue to thrive under thoughtful, capable leadership. We understand that every owner’s goals are unique and are open to a range of post-transaction roles—whether stepping into a key operating position, staying on through a short- or long-term transition, or exiting after a well-structured succession plan. While industry-agnostic, we’re particularly drawn to opportunities in consumer products, manufacturing, and residential or commercial services—sectors that align with our hands-on, long-term investment philosophy.
