Snowflake Investments is an investment manager focused on crowdfunded real estate investments, enabling investors to efficiently build a selective, diversified portfolio of private real estate investments yielding mid to high teens, backed by rigorous due diligence, and available in either private commingled fund or separate account vehicles. Under the existing crowdfunding model, the only due diligence on crowdfunded investment offerings is performed and presented by the crowdfunding platform. Having the crowdfunding platforms act as gatekeepers presents significant conflicts of interest - platforms are compensated based on investments funded, and they value relationships with deal sponsors more than those with investors; most expressly state that they do not have a fiduciary responsibility to the investor. Further due diligence is generally performed by investors, but it's not easy. At Snowflake, we've built an arsenal of tools to monitor and efficiently analyze the entire universe of crowdfunded real estate offerings, developed strong, arms length relationships with the crowdfunding platforms, and roll up our sleeves and do the work required to fully vet each offering to ensure that we select only the most attractive opportunities. Snowflake Investments is the first investor-centric, fiduciary platform focused on crowdfunded commercial real estate that monitors substantially all platforms for new offerings, performs institutional quality due diligence and vetting of the transaction, sponsor, and platform, and provides high quality, customized reporting.
