SUTTON COLDFIELD TOWN CENTRE BID
Sutton Coldfield Town Centre is a Business Improvement District both funded and governed by businesses located in the Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID boundaries. A Business Improvement District is a defined area in which a levy is charged on all business rate payers in addition to the business rates bill. This levy is used to develop projects which will benefit businesses in the local area. Since 2017, the BID team has carried out a five-year strategy which has raised the profile of Sutton Coldfield Town Centre making it a safer, cleaner and livelier place to visit and do business. The current Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID term is due to end in 2021 and must undergo what is called a ‘Renewal Ballot’. Businesses who are over a certain rateable value within the BID area will be asked to vote in favour of supporting a third five-year term. To make sure that the BID is able to provide the support local business needs over the next five years we need the thoughts, views, and ideas of the BID area businesses. We're collecting this feedback via our renewal survey - find out more and download the survey at https://suttoncoldfieldtowncentre.co.uk/renewal-2022-2027
