Emerald Investment is a private family office founded by Alan McIntosh in 2012. Emerald’s proprietary capital base enables a broad approach to investing. We are unconstrained by conventional Limited Partner structures, and take a flexible approach to investing across the capital structure, in public or private companies. Emerald’s investment strategy is non-sector specific, and is unrestricted by time-frames or geographies. The single common denominator across our investment portfolio is the first-class quality of management teams that we partner with and support. Our external partner investors include other family offices and institutional investors from across the world. In all investments that we make, Emerald’s principals provide a significant proportion of funds involved. Emerald currently has interests in real estate, hotels & leisure, healthcare, biotech and education, located in Europe, North America and Asia.
