G-Cubed Ventures
G-Cubed Ventures is an investment company which partners with small British businesses and helps them grow. Founders Ian Wason and Alex Bonsor have over fifty years of combined experience in founding small businesses and scaling them into large, multinational businesses over the long term. G-Cubed Ventures is looking to partner with a small number of high-quality British businesses and help them scale up. The partnership can range in form, from a minority investment (with significant governance rights) to a 100% acquisition, depending on the objectives of the seller. We believe that we are different from traditional private equity in the sense that we have infinitely patient capital (there are no fund-life issues or sell-by dates, this is partner capital); we take a long-term approach to value creation; and Ian and Alex will roll-up their sleeves and work alongside founders/vendors to ensure long term success for their businesses (ie no junior ‘suits’ sitting on your board – this is personal involvement). G-Cubed Ventures is so-named because it is looking to partner with good organisations (good people making a positive contribution to the world), make good investments (allowing us to repeat the process) and give some of its profits to good causes (leaving the world in a better state than we found it).
G-Cubed Ventures is a UK-based permanent capital vehicle targeting profitable SMEs with a focus on financial services, regulatory reporting (TIC), and general business services. Their hands-on operator model and flexible holding structure align closely with UK search fund and independent sponsor characteristics.
