Specifically, we make explicit: the assumptions everyone is carrying but no longer challenging the decisions being deferred because they are awkward, political, or inconvenient the consequences that will arrive later, fully formed, expensive, and owned by whoever is left standing Our starting point is a short, senior-led intervention designed to create clarity fast. Fixed fee: £12k. The outcome is not a report, a plan, or a programme. It is a shared, auditable view of what must be decided now, what can safely wait, and what will quietly compound if ignored. This work is most valuable in the narrow window after signing, when confidence is highest and ownership is most diffuse. Once delivery starts, options reduce and the cost of asking the same questions rises sharply. Doing nothing is still a decision. It just defers the consequences.
