Founded in 2014, 1949 Value Advisors LLC is a traditional value-driven global equity investment manager of long only separate accounts for accredited investors including family offices and select institutions. "The Intelligent Investor"​, written by Benjamin Graham, was first published in 1949. We believe that many of his timeless investment principles are as relevant today as ever. 1949 Value Advisors seeks to provide intelligent investment solutions for conservative long term investors who share our core principles in light of an increasingly short term and emotion driven market environment. We seek to apply timeless investment principles to modern global equity markets, as Matthew Haynes (Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of 1949 Value Advisors) has done for more than 20 years.
