Connection Request

Hey Andrejka — similar IB → PE path (CS & Greenhill in London on my end). been thinking a lot about origination in energy and power infrastructure lately. would be good to connect.

Cold DM (Sales Nav)

Hey Andrejka, similar IB → PE background, though I was in London at Greenhill not on the energy side at Credit Suisse and Blackstone like you. origination was always the same story for me — clear thesis, decent relationships, but no proprietary system of record. the people, tools and ideas were never really connected. every deal virtually sourced from scratch, nothing compounding over time. curious if that's still how most funds operate or if I'm behind the times? — Russ

Hey Andrejka, looks like we share a similar IB → PE path, though I was at CS & Greenhill in London doing european growth deals not at Credit Suisse and Blackstone building out energy infrastructure positions like you. the pattern I keep seeing with most funds is weirdly consistent — strong thesis, solid network, but no proprietary system of record. the people, tools and ideas are never really connected. every deal virtually sourced from scratch, nothing compounds on itself. curious if that resonates or if you've already built something different at Dynamix given you're standing it up from scratch? — Russ

Followup 1

hey Andrejka — no worries if the timing's off. most funds I talk to have tried some version of building origination in-house — analyst pulling from Pitchbook or Grata, maybe using ChatGPT to help qualify, dumping it into a spreadsheet. each piece kind of works, but there's no system of record tying it together. tonnes of wasted energy and everything ends up out of sync. been helping a few funds like Mentmore work through that. curious if you've run into the same thing at Dynamix? — Russ

Followup 2 (Breakup)

totally get it if origination infrastructure isn't top of mind right now — especially with the IPO filing and everything else on your plate. the funds I've seen crack it early just tend to compound deal flow in a way that's hard to replicate later. if it ever moves up the list, I'm easy to find. — Russ

## PROSPECT INFORMATION: Name: Andrejka Bernatova Title: Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Fund: Dynamix Corporation Background: Andrejka Bernatova is an elite energy and infrastructure executive, investor, and board member based in Houston, Texas. She is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of Regen Capital and the Chairman and CEO of Dynamix (NASDAQ: DYNXU), a public holding company focused on the energy, industrial, and power infrastructure value chain. She has a highly global background, having lived and worked across five continents and speaking five languages. Current Focus: Her primary focus is the intersection of energy infrastructure, AI growth, and digital assets. She is a vocal advocate for the "infrastructure-first" approach to AI, arguing that power availability, not software, is the primary bottleneck for scaling compute. She is also heavily involved in the institutionalization of Ethereum, viewing it as "digital oil" and a critical trust layer for global transactions. Background: Andrejka has a pedigree in high-finance and operations. She began her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley before taking investment roles at The Blackstone Group and Mubadala Development Company (Masdar Clean Energy), a $250B sovereign wealth fund. As an entrepreneur and executive, she was on the management team of PennTex Midstream (taking it public and selling it), served as CFO of Goodnight Midstream and Enchanted Rock Energy, and was the Founder/CEO of ESGEN Acquisition Corp (which merged with Sunergy Renewables to become Zeo Energy, NASDAQ: ZEO). She holds an A.B. from Harvard University. Key Skills: Energy Infrastructure, Private Equity, Capital Markets, SPAC execution, Financial Modeling, M&A Strategy, and Operational Leadership. Personal Highlights: She is an endurance athlete who completed the Marathon des Sables (200-mile ultra-run in the Sahara) and biked 600 miles across Tibet and Nepal to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Recent Posts and Quotes: March 10, 2026: Discussed the misuse of continuation vehicles in private equity. "If a company was overpaid for, lightly managed, and never fundamentally improved, more time is not a strategy. That is not an alignment issue. It is an operational issue." March 9, 2026: Shared themes from the Experience POWER advisory board meeting. "The line between resources (oil, gas, mining) and power infrastructure is blurring as solving the AI energy challenge requires the full value chain." February 24, 2026: Analyzed the energy landscape in Latin America and Venezuela. "Technical workforce is high quality... given a credible framework, that talent can return and help attract foreign capital... Treat it like a repair project with historical burden: sequence the work, prove reliability, then scale." January 29, 2026: Addressed the AI energy crisis. "AI growth is being framed as a technology problem. It’s not. It’s an infrastructure problem... Software scales exponentially. Infrastructure scales linearly." January 12, 2026: Focused on downside protection in investing. "Operators underwrite downside first: what breaks margins, what disrupts cash flow, what fails under stress. Capital doesn’t solve those problems but execution does." December 29, 2025: On the necessity of fossil fuels for AI. "Over the next five to ten years, the only solution that is reliable, scalable, and executable is natural gas, complemented by renewables where they actually work... Data centers need 99.99% uptime. Resiliency matters more than narratives." November 25, 2025: Advice to fellow operators. "My advice to operators is to build like you’ll own it forever, and invest like you’ll have to run it tomorrow."
